Welcome to the DAV Website
The DAV is a non-profit association which exists to promote debate. It
is the peak debating body in Victoria and runs large competitions for
adults and for schools across Victoria. It provides training and
resources for debaters, teachers and adjudicators.
Spring Debate Camp 2026
We are excited to be offering a number of debate camp opportunities for students in Years 7 and 8 across the September holidays.The camp will consist of matter sessions on recurring debating themes, workshops to improve debating and public speaking skills and offer students the chance to participate in multiple debates and to receive feedback from experienced adjudicators.
Registration is now open.
There will be one camps offered this holiday for Year 7-8 students of any experience level. We are offering flexible registration. The cost to attend will be $340 per student for the 3-day program or $135 for single day registrations, inclusive of lunch.
Upon registering you will receive confirmation and an invoice via email within 72 hours. All payments should be finalised within a week of registration.
