Welcome to the DAV Website
The DAV is a non-profit association which exists to promote debate. It
is the peak debating body in Victoria and runs large competitions for
adults and for schools across Victoria. It provides training and
resources for debaters, teachers and adjudicators.

November 14th
The DAV is recruiting adjudicators to help with our school debating programs in 2023.
Becoming an adjudicator is a great way to continue developing your critical thinking and public speaking skills, and provides opportunities to meet lots of new like-minded people.
Debating rounds are run on Monday-Thursday evenings from February to November, and adjudicators receive $60-85 for each round they attend.
